As an athlete, I endured numerous injuries over the past 37 years of weight training, including a severe neck injury in 1995 that plunged me into a realm of debilitating pain. I sought any remedy that would alleviate my pain. Initially, I was prescribed narcotics, which somewhat reduced the pain but impaired my ability to function at work, let alone push myself to the limit at the gym. Beyond the inability to function, the narcotics were having significant mental and physical side effects that brought me to the emergency room on several occasions. After finally committing to wean off the narcotics and seeking a holistic approach without these crippling side effects of pharmaceuticals, I was able to find some relief through chiropractic treatments and massage therapy. The progress was gradual but steady.

After about a year of therapy, I was able to resume working and training in the gym. This experience heightened my empathy for others suffering from pain and inspired me to help them. In 2010, I pursued a career in massage therapy. Soon after graduating in 2012, I obtained my massage therapy license.

 

For the past 13 years, I've dedicated my career to helping people find relief from back, hip, and neck pain. My approach has been rooted in deep tissue and myofascial work, combined with strategic stretching to target those tight areas that contribute to discomfort. However, throughout my journey, I consistently faced a significant challenge: finding the perfect massage lotion. Every product I tried fell short, lacking the right balance of control, friction and glide. This persistent issue ignited a desire in me to create something superior, something that elevated my massage work to a new level.

Driven by this vision, I embarked on a mission to develop products that not only enhance the massage experience but also offer genuine pain relief. I wanted solutions that I could confidently use on my clients and that they could take home to continue their healing journey. Much of the existing products on the market were simply inadequate; they were ineffective at alleviating pain and expensive. This gap in the market fueled my passion to create products I can confidently use with my clients. After months of trial and error, I created a massage salve that provided the perfect amount of control, friction, and glide without the client complaining that it feels like I am tearing their skin.
